Good two-stroke news!

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Good two-stroke news!

Post by ACMX »

I know most of you have seen the 'possible' 2011 Yamaha Yz125 prototype.

But how many of you have seen a possible 2011 Honda Cr125 prototype?

I found both of these at: onthepiperacing.com/news.php

That one is most likely just a normal cr with the newer plastics. The gas tank is aluminum ;).

I can't quite tell but looks like a pre-03 engine (No RC valve) dropped into a newer CR 125 frame with even newer plastics.

It's possible that the companies are trying to make their bikes appear newer so they can catch a little of the "I ain't paying no $3000 to fix this damn broken four-stroke in this damn broken economy" wave. The Honda I'm thinking is probably a garage special, but the Yamaha could be factory. That is how their frame looked on the 2010 model, even though it's not been updated in a long time. We'll watch how well Project Two-50 does and see how much of a difference it makes.

I agree with sweden. I said it. But when was the last time you saw a spy shot of a "Prototype" bike in the woods or up against a fence?
