oh and before you say anything. anyone that does earn money off of gameplay footage is probably doing it illegally. the thing is that for example youtube asks you if you have permission, youtube then registers that you said you have permission. when a company goes to youtube about those videos, youtube can say that you said you have permission. they then find out you don't have a licence and you are fucked.

here is the catch though. you won't find any game company that actively goes after these videos. they don't give a shit, in fact the videos earn them extra revenue since it is basically free advertisement.

You don't need my permission to use gameplay footage. It's no different than creating a movie with Blender in my opinion.
