Osama bin Laden dead.

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Sadly, you are right.

Thats really the message the U.S government gave to the public about our reason for going to war..... to find Osama Bin Laden and give him the justice that he deserves.

Terrorism is an IDEALOGY, not a person or group of people. Its almost a religion. You can't terminate a religion by killing the leader.

I wouldn't be surprised if we stirred up the hornets nest by doing this. Hell, security levels are already elevated, and even though people are celebrating this, they still have that little bit of fear in their minds that something could happen. So who's the real winner?

They did some research on him to make a 100% ID. They used his sister or something to get a genetic match or something like that.

But to be honest, I don't mind if this was the only reason if we've been there. No one has been fighting over there for a while anyway. I know a few guys who just finished their deployment, and they said nothing was happening anyway, and they were just waiting for him to die.

It's going to do one of two things.

1. Cause way more problems and create more active AQ members.

or

2. Cut the head off the snake and see if it all falls apart.

Obviously the first is more likely, and I'd bet money on it. There's some serious players that no one hears about that are still out there.
