One of the better supercross riders at this game made a nice little thread called "BIKE SETTINGS" where he put his exact supercross setting. I put mine too. Who woulda thunk?

No, sometimes it's good to lock the rear brake and slide into courners. Front should be anti-lock

Holy hell Smoke how can you ride with those settings? I mean the suspesion setup is good but the rest made the bike feel like you're trying to maneuver a ferry in a pond.
But thanks for posting it up anyway. I could use some of it :)

Guess it comes down to what controller you're using.

Well, I know it is a lil slower, but I am still fairly new to the game. I am getting ready to up it a bit so its a lil quicker. Response. Good. Settings for a beginner though. What should I start tweaking first? Also.... for any newbies, ill help you practice on sx, just hit me up on msn messenger.

Everyone just needs to realize that it is very possible to be fast with stock settings, while set up helps, it probably isn't the number 1 factor holding you back. Just like with in real life, I would worry more about practicing before I start adjusting things on my bike. It also really depends on your riding style, what works for me maybe not work for others and vice versa. I can go pretty fast (relative to my speed) with stock settings, and only a bit faster (mostly more consistent) with my tuned settings.

Well I would like to be more consistant now. I have played with settings till I'm blue in the face..Just seem to muck it up all the time. I'm not one that thinks that if I have, let's say, "Shak or Cobra" settings..I will be that fast....just think I could ride my own pace a little better.. I have gotten to my level with 0 stability. and not too proud to go up in stab. Would just like good settup with shocks..rebound and damping settings more adjusted to supercross. I mean if stock settings were all we need..then why have adjustments?

Ok.

Dont touch your settings. Put it near stock and leave them. if you keep changing them you wont know what you are changing and what to look for. If you are new, you have no idea if you fell over because your front end dived, or if it was you that time. DONT TOUCH YOUR SETTINGS, JUST PRACTICE

Latter on when you are good you can change the rear preload SLIGHTLY and go, hey i can feel the bike turning sharper in the corner.

Also almost no-one plays on 0 stability. Try playing on 10-15 or 15-20. Most people are around 15
