So good Sandhapper ! :D

-------------

I try to get LODs. I don't know if it's good for now.
Do you think the triscount is good for the lod3/5..etc. ? (I don't think that everyone is able to answer this question, so I ask to people like DJ or p2sta.)

I wouldn't even bother with lod 3 (8 ft) and 5 (32 ft) to be honest.

With lod 6 (128 ft), you could probably remove a few more little engine detailings, radiator fins, some of the plastic creases etc.

With lod 8 (512 ft), you could remove the back faces of the engines (just so the sides are visible), most of the plastic details. It doesn't need to be pretty because it is so far away.

Good effort. Good to see you are thinking of lods

Thank you very much. I will then remove what you said.
Oh and, I think I can make an model for the first person.
But, this is useful ? If I remove by example the swingarm and detail on the rear plastic, this could improve the flow of game ?

Here are the lod distances at a FOV of 110 (on a 1366x768 monitor). These are where the lods kick in at a model geometric detail of 50

There's no first person models for the bike. JLV already disables rendering of the wheels and swingarm in first person.

I would have overlooked this, thank you for pointing it out. It should look just fine now.

I like it, looks real smooth. Don't forget to smudge out/blur those unwanted spots, like what is seen on the under side of the fender.

PePete has nearly finished an rm250. I dont know if he started from scratch or used Monas as a base.
