Maybe on the outline of the green make the black sharp on the edges could tidy it up heaps

i'm not sure how you can do it in photoshop. i know illustrator stroke tool gives sharp edges.

You can do it by selecting the stroke path to the inside but it makes it look pretty average sometimes. Usually i just make another layer below it and draw sharp edges seems to work fine
