Re: Upcoming Models #2
You should eliminate those triangles. In the shroud there are lot of spots where you can just change them quads easily. But when you can't, just add some more polys because the tris are going to be a pain in the ass later, in case if you're going to bake some norms of course. Hopefully yes, because that bike is just cool even though it's faded to the history.sk84life933 wrote:Haven't made anything in a while, been busy working and getting school done. Some EN progress for TMFR.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
Sometimes I miss being unemployed. I haven't touched this in a few months and I think made this much progress in a week. I don't even remember how to use Blender anymore. Don't think I ever share this progress pic, though.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
If anyone who knows their way around Blender and wants to fuck with it, PM me. Can't really see myself finishing it at this point.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
It's always good to have some references when modeling the fork legs and caliper.
Re: Upcoming Models #2
Haha yeah the forks I took from the bike just for replacing the seals, but they offered a great help on that for sure.
Here some more about the caliper. Now all the worst modeling things are over on this bike finally! The caliper is pretty much one piece, somewhere around 1000 tris. To compare, the full bike without having the chain, some of the bolts and other small things modeled is starting to be around 30000 tris.
