here´s my husaberg fe-450 model.
i was never able to properly export it from sketchup to max so i got very weird results with unwrapping wich stopped me from finishing it :(
if someone can fix it i would be so gratefull.
the link includes an .obj, a .3ds and the original .skp file.
so, i post it here for anyone who wants to fix it for me or finish it, anything can be discussed via pm, im open for any agreement.

thanks.
Mace.

Would it be possible to move the model over to Blender and then do what your trying to do?

I know that. But im saying like would he be bale to unwrap it in Blender. He can, but he isnt familiar with Blender I guess. Neither am I, but when I get home, ill try to play around with it and see if I can unwrap something, and if I do, ill do it on the bike.

thanks for the help sk8, but im pretty sure that is not a software problem, i think that it´s more a google sketchup models issue.

66 downloads and no one has a hint or something?

im starting to think that i should not have posted it here...
i doubt that someone will rip it tho..

help please. :(

I dont know about this plug in, im still trying to figure it out. Its the unfoldtool, heres the website: http://sketchuptips.blogspot.com/2007/0 ... oldrb.html
I clicked on the front fender, and then it selected that one, made everything else fade away but the fender, and then it made it look as if it was put in game, you know how bikes are when there only a wireframe in the game? Its just like that.

I know how to unwrap models in blender but not ones with so many vertices like this, it would be helpful if i knew a way how to hide the rest of the bike model while im just unwrapping the front fender rather than seeing every other vertice in the bike model which is annoying.

the front fender is allright.
try to unwrap the rear sideplates+fender, when you do the outher side all wents ok, but when doing the inner side you select the faces and when you apply a pelt mapping everything gets fucked up and i get lots of random seams :(

hence all gets fucked up and i cant pelt, relax or anything on the freakin fender :(
